Baby Huey, a giant duckling eager to join the circus, is lured by normal‑sized ducks into a barrel that nearly rolls off a cliff. The barrel stops but drops him into the clutches of a starving fox, who tries every scheme to make him a meal. All fail, and Huey becomes the circus ringmaster, forcing the humbled fox to endure a series of comical tricks.
