In August 1987, Héctor Abad Gómez, a university professor, human rights activist, and doctor, was tragically murdered in downtown Medellín amidst the turbulent years of Colombia’s internal conflict. The circumstances surrounding his death and the reasons behind it remain a central question. The film explores the motivations and potential interests of those who might have wanted to silence a man who championed human rights and pioneered the concept of public health in Colombia.
