In the bleak, frost‑bitten woods of the Hautes‑Fagnes, the quiet of early winter is broken only by the howl of wind and the occasional rustle of unseen creatures. Marc Stevens, a modest traveling entertainer who makes a living singing soft ballads for retirement homes, finds himself stranded when his van—also his home on wheels—fails amid a storm just days before Christmas.
