Two women lounge in a London living‑room, smoking, playing cards and listening to the radio. Masks, make‑up and costumes let them whimsically shift identities, a hallmark of Dwoskin’s work. In its second half the women watch their own rushes on an editing table, declaring “We are making a movie,” prompting Dwoskin’s question about how much of acting is performed.
