Brotherly Love (2018) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

The ending of Brotherly Love reveals a dark and complex web of violence, revenge, and family ties. Throughout the film, June is portrayed as both a caring brother and a dangerous figure capable of deadly violence, but the shocking truth is that he was the one responsible for the initial massacre of five boys on "the hill." This revelation comes late in the story, during a prom night confrontation between June, Chris, Sergio, and Jackie. Chris recognizes June as the killer he has been seeking revenge for, especially because one of the boys killed was his cousin Omar. Fueled by grief and anger, Chris initially sets out to get close to June to get answers but ends up genuinely falling in love with Sergio’s sister, Jackie.
