William Boyd stars as the fearless Hopalong Cassidy, who defies the law by going undercover as an outlaw—letting him, for once, drink and even be harsh with children—in order to hunt down a gang of outlaws operating along the border. Their leader, Loco, shields himself from suspicion by pretending to be a simpleton.
