Black Cadillac

Three friends—Scott, CJ, and Robbie—pull into a snowy Wisconsin roadhouse seeking a night of fun. CJ gets into a bar brawl, and Scott has to go inside to bail him out and keep Robbie safe. They leave together, heading toward Minnesota with the night ahead of them.

A large black 1957 Cadillac limousine begins stalking the trio, creeping up close and then backing off as they drive through the wintry countryside. The unsettling pursuit hints at a danger that follows them wherever they go.

They soon pick up Deputy Sheriff Charlie Harman after his '86 Chevrolet police cruiser breaks down on the roadside. He is friendly and talkative, but his presence seems to attach him to the Cadillac's ominous pursuit.

Behind them, the Cadillac intensifies its pursuit and suddenly challenges Scott's red Saab 900 to a drag race, doing everything it can to wreck the car. The dangerous game becomes a test of wits and nerve for the trio.

The group stops at a roadside cafe for a break, where they discover a chilling message on the Saab's windshield: 'Your sin will find you.' The note refuses to come off, deepening the mystery of who is behind the chase.

Scott decides to eject Charlie from the car, hoping to break the link to the pursuit. In a cruel twist, the Cadillac reappears and Charlie is killed by an apparent gunman in the front seat, leaving the others shaken and more wary than ever.

The trio tries to outrun the nightmare, but the Saab overheats and slows their progress. A heated fight erupts among the friends, and CJ intervenes to restore some sanity as they regroup to think of their next move.

After pushing the Saab toward a nearby repair garage, CJ is kidnapped by the Cadillac's occupants, and a frantic chase scuds across a frozen lake. Scott and Robbie scramble to keep ahead as the night drags on.

CJ's capture leads to a chilling revelation: Charlie is not the innocent suspect he pretended to be, and his brother Luther operates the Cadillac. Their wife Jeanine taunts them, and it becomes clear that Luther orchestrated the pursuit to identify Scott, the man his wife had been seeing.

Enraged, Charlie restarts the pursuit, taking control of the Cadillac and driving toward the edge of a cliff. The others run for safety as the car roars after them, the danger more lethal than ever.

At the cliff's edge, Charlie corners Scott with a hunting knife, but Jeanine's distraction causes him to veer away. The Cadillac plunges over the cliff and crashes into the lake, killing Charlie and Luther as the burning car sinks from sight.

With the threat ended, the survivors push on and finally cross the state line into Minnesota. Dawn breaks over the snow as they face the long road ahead and reflect on the night from which they barely escaped.
