In the denouement, Vaishali Singh finally turns the tide against the powerful racket running the Munawwarpur girls’ shelter. After weeks of gathering fragments of testimony, she confronts Sudha, the lone survivor who has been terrified to speak out. Vaishali convinces her that her voice alone can save the dozens of children still hidden in the home. Sudha agrees, steps in front of the camera with her face shrouded, and recounts, in harrowing detail, the abuse perpetrated by Bansi Sahu, the corrupt minister‑linked “philanthropist,” the warden Baby Rani, and the enforcer Sonu.
The broadcast of Bhakshak electrifies the public and forces the state apparatus to act. The Chief Minister, under pressure, orders an immediate FIR under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act. Though the child‑welfare official Mithilesh Sinha—himself part of the crime network—tries to stall, the police can no longer ignore the recorded confession. The next morning, a squad storms the shelter, rescues the girls, and arrests Bansi Sahu, his collaborators, and the complicit officials.

She laments how media often sidesteps such stories when they lack “entertainment value,” urging viewers to ask themselves whether they have the courage to stand up for humanity.
