A girl on a swing narrates a story that juxtaposes the detached horror of a news report heard on TV with her own immersion in a nightmarish reality that gradually becomes familiar and commonplace. Her plain‑spoken recount is alternately funny and terrifying, amplified by a flood of striking visual images that parody and heighten the work’s macabre tone.
