Paula, a circus performer, is married to Lorio, an alcoholic clown‑acrobat. Lorio’s binge drinking ends in a catastrophic injury during a show, leaving him crippled. To survive, the couple turns to street performance, playing music together. The original 81‑minute cut is partially lost, with the latter half missing.
