Outraged by the sight of Rikyū’s severed head cast into the Nijo River, Princess Goh—Hideyoshi’s adopted daughter and heir of a lord—orders Usu, Oribe’s loyal servant, to recover the head and deliver it to Rikyū’s adopted daughter.
