Mr. Taschenbier eagerly awaits the return of Sams, the cheeky, gluttonous yet lovable green creature with red hair and blue spots, hoping the newly‑activated wishing machine will keep him forever. After a week of sunny Sunday, a visit from Mr. Mohn on Monday, duties on Tuesday, a quiet Wednesday, a stormy Thursday and a day off on Friday, Sams finally comes back. The machine works, but his arrival triggers a series of comic mishaps and disasters.
