Atlantis is the central setting, an advanced island continent perched beyond the Pillars of Hercules. The story follows a slave society within a volcanic capital, where the inhabitants mine power crystals for a weaponized heat ray. Survivors eventually flee to Greece and other parts of the world as the continent sinks into the sea.
