Athomugam (2024) Plot Summary & Ending Explained

Martin finally learns that the romantic comedy façade has been a trap from the start. After refusing Rithvik Bansal’s lucrative offer, the bitter rival manipulates Leena by showing her a fabricated video of Martin with another woman, forcing her to hand over the estate documents. Bansal’s plan spirals when a stranger, hired to collect the papers, becomes obsessed with Leena and threatens to kill Martin; Leena, fed up with the man’s insults, shoots him instead, only to discover that Bansal has also placed a hidden‑spy app on Martin’s phone, turning both spouses into his pawns. The police, tipped off by the dead body, label Martin a murderer, and the media begins to hunt him.

Desperate for help, Martin turns to his lifelong friend Paul, only to find a room full of CCTV recordings that have been tracking his every move.
