Fundamental assumptions are challenged when a surfer stranded in the Australian Outback meets an alien piloting a time‑traveling vessel disguised as a 1950s greasy‑spoon diner. The alien draws him into a frantic chase, forcing the surfer to resolve a temporal paradox so he can reverse history and stop Japan’s victory in World War II.
