“Around the World with Orson Welles” is a six‑episode, 26‑minute travel‑ogue series produced by Louis Dolivet for ITV, known in France as *Le Carnet De Voyage d’Orson Welles*. It marks Welles’s first genuine television work after his studio “Sketch Book”. Though a 1955 contract ordered 26 episodes, only six were completed: Vienna; two on the Basque Country; bullfighting; Paris’s Saint‑Germain‑des‑Prés; and Chelsea retirees. An unfinished episode on the 1952 Domenici Affair would have been the first documentary on that scandal.
