Armour of God

Jackie, known as Asian Hawk, is introduced as a former musician who now travels as an adventurer and treasure hunter. He uses his street-smarts and martial skills to chase legends and rarities around the world. The film sets his fearless, improvisational style as the backbone of the quest to come.

Jackie steals a sword from an African tribe, a deed that immediately draws attention. The weapon is put up for auction and ends up in the hands of May Bannon, Count Bannon's daughter. The theft launches the intertwined hunt for the Armour of God pieces and introduces May as a key ally.

Jackie is reunited with his former bandmate Alan, who pleads for help after Lorelei has been kidnapped by a dangerous cult. The cult aims to use Jackie's renowned skills to obtain the remaining Armour of God pieces. Jackie agrees to help, driven by loyalty to his friends and a desire to stop the cult's plans.

Count Bannon holds the Armour of God pieces and agrees to loan them for the rescue mission, with a promise to help complete the armour for him in return. The deal requires that May accompany the expedition, adding a personal motive to the journey. Jackie, Alan, and May must work together to retrieve Lorelei while honoring the Count's terms.

Jackie, Alan, and May travel to Yugoslavia in search of the cult's monastery where Lorelei is likely held and the armour pieces are kept. They infiltrate the area and plan their rescue against a well-prepared enemy. The journey marks a shift from casual treasure hunting to a full-scale rescue mission.

They infiltrate the hideout and secretly rescue Lorelei, unaware that the cult leaders have anticipated their arrival. Lorelei's brainwashing raises the stakes, as she now appears loyal to the cult rather than fully cooperative. The rescue exposes the manipulated, dangerous state she’s in.

While May is away, Lorelei drugs Alan at May's rest home and has him steal the three armour pieces. Lorelei's betrayal forces Jackie to rethink their plan and recover the missing artefacts. The stolen pieces swing the balance of power back to the cult.

Jackie sneaks back to the monastery to rescue Alan and Lorelei from danger. He navigates the dangerous corridors and fights off guards. The team reassembles to prepare for a final, decisive confrontation.

As Alan and Lorelei attempt to escape, Jackie confronts more cult members and finally discovers the Armour of God concealed in a cave beneath the monastery. The discovery heightens the urgency of the escape. The armour’s presence intensifies the looming showdown with the cult.

Jackie faces the Grand Wizard, who unleashes four female assassins on him. He exploits their high-heeled shoes as a weakness, turning their weaponized fashion into a liability. After a brutal confrontation, Jackie defeats the assassins.

With danger closing in, Jackie reveals a vest packed with dynamite sticks. After a tense bluff, he accidentally lights all the fuses, turning the monastery into a potential tomb. He scrambles to escape as the countdown begins.

The detonations trigger a catastrophic cave-in, burying the entire cult and the Armour of God beneath rubble. Jackie narrowly escapes the collapsing ruins while the monastery collapses around them. The immediate threat appears crushed as the dust settles.

Jackie exits the wreckage and spots a hot-air balloon carrying Alan, Lorelei, and May. He makes a perilous move to reach them, highlighting his agility and daring as the trio climbs aboard. The escape scene shifts from battle to a high-stakes airborne pursuit.

In the film’s climactic stunt, Jackie base-jumps from the cave and lands on top of the balloon, securing their getaway. The group soars away, the immediate threat behind them, and Lorelei’s fate restored. The adventure closes on a triumphant note as they escape to safety.
