In a Midwestern state struggling with addiction and incarceration, three mothers—Tomika, Lydia, and Amanda—seek to reconnect with their children after years apart. Their paths converge within re-entry programs, where they confront the challenges of rebuilding their lives. Malika, a dedicated advocate with personal experience of imprisonment, offers guidance and support as the women navigate their journeys toward healing and reconciliation.
