The tale follows a relentless anteater whose raids terrorize an industrious ant colony. The ant queen constantly warns her workers about the creature, describing him as a brute who will scoop them up with his long snout. Their rallying cry, “make him yell uncle,” rings out whenever the predator breaches their tunnels, uniting the ants in fierce defense.
