Nakamura Yukinojo rises to fame in Edo’s kabuki world as a striking onnagata, a male actor who plays women. Beneath his calm stage persona burns a vendetta against the men who disgraced his parents, causing their suicide in his childhood. Learning the mastermind is now in the audience, he enlists the Robin‑hood‑type thief Yamitaro and targets the villain’s daughter as his first act of revenge.
