Explore Akihabara, Tokyo’s famed “Electric Town,” where narrow rows of discount electronics shops have become a pilgrimage site for computer geeks, anime and manga fans, figure collectors, gamers and otaku. The film wanders its lively streets, maid cafés and specialty stores, profiling the passionate subculture that thrives outside mainstream Japanese society.
