Tracing the rise of pioneering guitarist‑singer Bert Jansch from his teenage days in 1960s Edinburgh, where he watched Brownie McGhee at the Howff Folk Club, to his emergence as the acoustic virtuoso many aspired to emulate. Influenced by raw American blues, his masterful reinterpretations of traditional and blues material reshaped folk music, inspiring icons such as Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Neil Young and continuing to inspire new generations of guitarists and singers.
