Abraham Ozler (2024) Spoiler-Free Summary – What It's About

In the humid corridors of Trichur’s police headquarters, Abraham Ozler carries the weight of a decorated career and a fragile home life. A veteran officer and seasoned ACP, he is a man shaped by years of service, yet his evenings are lit by the laughter of his wife Anisha and daughter Jenny, moments that ground him even as the city’s relentless pulse threatens to drown them out. The film opens with Ozler’s quiet determination to protect what matters most, setting a tone that balances the ordinary comforts of family with the looming demands of the badge.

Beneath the routine of paperwork and precinct briefings, Ozler battles an inner darkness that has deepened over the years. Chronic insomnia gnaws at his sanity, and the thin line between reality and hallucination begins to blur, leaving him perpetually on edge. He leans on his trusted subordinates—Divya Sreedharan, a sharp‑eyed SI whose steadiness complements Ozler’s own turbulence, and Sijo T Venu, a younger officer eager to learn from the veteran’s hard‑won wisdom. Together they navigate a city where every alleyway seems to whisper of unfinished business, and the atmosphere is thick with the scent of rain‑soaked streets and unspoken dread.

When a series of unsettling murders begins to shadow the city, Ozler is pulled back into the very kind of case that tests the limits of his resolve. The investigation forces him to confront the fragile boundary between his professional responsibilities and the lingering grief that haunts his personal life. As the pressure mounts, the film weaves a brooding, atmospheric portrait of a man who must reconcile his past with an uncertain future, inviting the audience to wonder how far a dedicated soul will go to keep the darkness at bay.
