Set in the 1910s, this lyrical romance follows Sándor, a local newspaper editor who works as a foot soldier on Sundays but spends weekdays playing billiards and courting women. One Sunday, in uniform, he meets Vilma, a beautiful, honest maid, and their encounter turns his carefree adventures into a tender love.
