After a beauty makeover, she emerges with a blonde wig, bold red lips, and a radiant new look that drastically changes how others perceive her.

Meanwhile, Lena, secretly in love with Joe, watches as he grows closer to Felicienne Courbeau, the store’s chic French agent. Felicienne’s past begins to surface in the narrative as well, adding a layer of intrigue and danger to the Parisian arrangement. Steve nonetheless runs into Sam at a café, and fails to recognize her, misreading her as a high-class figure of the night; Sam decides to lean into the deception as a form of revenge for how he treated her during the plane ride, adopting the alias Mimi.
