In a secluded villa, Davide Lugani lives with his wife, his brother Carlo, and their secretary Paolo. Carlo, confined to a wheelchair, blind and mute, possesses an uncanny sensitivity that lets him foresee events. When Davide suddenly collapses, presumed a heart attack, and Carlo’s nurse is later found shot, suspicion falls on the widow and on Paolo, who appears to be her lover. As police prepare to make arrests, a shocking revelation upends the case.
