Renegade Confederate soldiers seize a frontier town and assault a young Black woman. In response, a band of former slaves gathers weapons and launches a determined counter‑attack, confronting the occupiers. Set in the post‑Civil War West, the film shows brutal oppression and the ex‑slaves’ fierce resolve, ending in a bloody showdown that tests loyalties and humanity.
