Set against the backdrop of a modest pizzeria on 3rd Street in central Goiânia, Casablanca grew from a keen, listening eye on the neighborhood. Through a territorial, biographical lens, the documentary follows the lives of Zardos and Iara, whose presence keeps spaces like Casablanca alive in the sprawling city. Each Thursday at 8 p.m. the ordinary eatery transforms into a bolero‑filled venue that reaches beyond its corners.
