Pepe Nietnagel and his classmates at Mommsen school devise elaborate schemes to avoid any real studying—faking suicides, triggering air‑raid sirens, hijacking the director’s new broadcast system. Their antics get their teacher sent to a sanatorium, and the substitute they receive turns out to be surprisingly decent.
