Willy, Giacomo, Lorenzo and Sandro are four young yuppies navigating the 'Milano da bere' of the 1980s, living in the myth of Gianni Agnelli and Silvio Berlusconi; they are fixated on projecting success. Their only purpose is to appear rather than be. Giacomo works in advertising, Lorenzo is a notary, Sandro is a dentist, and Willy sells cars.
