The Yaqui people, an indigenous tribe, face a crisis as the Sonoran government illegally diverts water from the Yaqui River, threatening their way of life. Compounding this issue is the growing presence of methamphetamine production within their territory. Driven to protect their existence, the tribe seeks answers and strength in their rich cultural heritage, navigating a complex struggle against external pressures and searching for solutions to preserve their traditions and land.
