On a winter day a pregnant woman stretches by a window, then sits in a bathtub, smiling as her lover watches. Close‑up shots capture her face, belly and his gentle hands. She goes into labor; the film shows the crowning, cutting of the cord, delivery of the placenta, and the newborn girl nursing. The parents cradle the baby, sharing quiet moments as the scene returns to the bathtub. By the end the father is ecstatic and the mother rests with her daughter. Preserved by the Academy Film Archive in 2013.
