A female professor, a writer, and an orchestra conductor—three individuals forming two couples—gather at an elegant literary cocktail party. The writer has just received the prize for his novel “Warsaw Bridge.” When the journalist queries him repeatedly, he cannot summarize the plot, leaving the guests to read the book themselves.
