Keith and AJ decide to hire a stripper to help them move out of the cramped dorm into the frat house. They figure courting the right entertainment could unlock better housing and status. The plan reveals their desperation and willingness to bend rules for a chance at belonging.

Duncan, a lonely rich student, lends them his Cadillac and insists on tagging along to scout venues. The trio travels to a nearby city to check out strip clubs. The ride to the city foreshadows the night’s darker turn.

They arrive at a club that sits in a shady neighborhood, the air thick with danger and neon. The surreal and artistic performance by Katrina captivates them, hinting at something beyond ordinary nightlife. The club setting marks the beginning of the vampire nightmare.

AJ goes to Katrina's dressing room to press his case and persuade her to perform at their party. Katrina responds with a dangerous blend of seduction and menace, moving past talk into predatory intimacy. The encounter signals the transformation that will end AJ's life.

Katrina pins AJ to her waterbed filled with blood, seducing him as the transformation into a vampire begins. In the struggle, she breaks his arm to keep him from fighting back and sinks her fangs into his neck. The bite proves fatal, changing AJ into a creature of the night.

Keith seeks help from Amaretto, a waitress who keeps insisting she knows him, drawing him deeper into the search for AJ. They comb the neighborhood, hoping to locate him before the trail grows cold. The danger mounts as a psychotic albino street gang and lurking vampires close in.

In a dumpster, Keith finds AJ's discarded body and contacts the police, then returns to the club to confront the owners. To his horror, the club's vampires have already resurrected AJ as a vampire himself. The scene marks a morbid twist, straining their friendship with vampiric allegiance.

AJ admits to Keith that he is now a vampire and that Keith's loyalty may cost him his life. Deciding he cannot harm his friend, AJ drives a broken piece of furniture through his own heart and dies. Keith is left to face the consequences of the night, torn between friendship and survival.

The trio escapes the club, but their car is rammed by vampire vehicles. Duncan reveals he has also become a vampire and is left in a burning car that explodes behind them. The escape turns into a chaotic chase through the city streets.

Trying to escape through the sewers, the trio begins to regroup; Amaretto reveals her real name is Allison and recalls a fifth-grade spin-the-bottle game with Keith. They discover and burn a nest of vampires, but Katrina captures Allison. The sewers become a battleground for survival.

Keith shoots arrows through a grate, letting in sunlight that destroys Katrina. Vlad, Katrina's vampire consort, traps the survivors in the sewers. In a twist, a revived AJ stabs Vlad from behind with a stake that turns out to be formica, freeing them to reach the surface.

Keith and Allison finally reach daylight on the surface, while AJ remains in the sewers, planning how to stay near Keith by attending night school or taking a graveyard shift. The trio’s bond persists even as they confront a world overrun with vampires. The ending leaves their uneasy friendship intact but tested by nightmarish circumstances.
