Tomy, a golden retriever, is owned by Roy and falls in love with Amalu, a cocker spaniel owned by the neighboring family led by Swamy. Their interactions lead Swamy to visit Roy and express concerns about their relationship. Meanwhile, Swamy learns from Anand that Amalu is pregnant, raising suspicions about Tomy.

Swamy and his mother become suspicious that Tomy is responsible for Amalu's pregnancy. As a result, both Tomy and Amalu are locked inside their respective houses by their owners to prevent further interactions. This separation causes distress for the dogs.

Following advice from Poovan, a rooster and Tomy's friend, Tomy decides to elope with Amalu. They plan to run away at night with hopes of reuniting after the puppies are born. Their plan sets them on an adventurous journey away from human control.

During their escape, Tomy and Amalu meet an old, abandoned Labrador retriever who shares his past experiences. The Labrador helps them find food and offers guidance for their journey. His stories motivate the young dogs to stay resilient in their quest.

Tomy saves Sumathi, a street food vendor, from an attack by Bruno, a rottweiler. Bruno is rescued after falling into a pit during the attack and shares his troubled past, including his involvement in illegal dog fighting. He later joins Tomy and Amalu in their search for Amalu.

Tomy, Bruno, and the others chase Bhasi’s van after witnessing him capture a dog. They get confused on divided roads but eventually find Margaret, an Afghan hound, who advises them to use their sense of smell to find Amalu. This marks a turning point in their search efforts.

The search leads them to Tippu, a young American Staffordshire terrier, who misleads them to Bruno. Bruno’s past emerges—he was a beloved dog living with an old couple and was exploited in illegal dog fighting by Bhasi. Bruno decides to join Tomy and the others to rescue Amalu.

During their pursuit, Karidas, the Indian pariah dog, gets injured trying to save Tomy from a truck. Despite his injury, he urges Tomy to continue the search for Amalu. The group continues following Bhasi’s van toward the drug trial facility.

Tomy and Bruno arrive at the clandestine drug trial facility and find Amalu about to be injected. They confront Bhasi, and Bruno bravely attacks him, leading to the rescue of Amalu. Tomy also releases other abducted dogs once he gains access to the facility.

Amalu successfully gives birth to her puppies during their escape. The next day, Anand finds Tomy, Amalu, and the puppies by the roadside. He takes them to his home temporarily until they are reunited with their owners, symbolizing hope and reunion.

Sumathi finds Karidas and takes him to her house, where he is rehabilitated. The Indian Army’s dog squad rescues him after his injury. Meanwhile, authorities raid the drug trial facility, arresting Narendradas Karanavar and Roshan, and exposing their illegal activities.

After the raid, the dog rescue group announces that they will provide shelter for disabled dogs rescued from the facility. The story concludes with a sense of justice served, and the dogs find new hope for their future.
