Eric Renard, a drug‑addicted aspiring writer, is torn between his addiction and the hope of a literary future. After a botched robbery he is committed to a countryside rehabilitation center for wayward youth, where he befriends Kamel. Kamel becomes his guide, supporting Eric’s effort to break free from drugs and pursue his dream of writing.
