A rare Hong‑Kong take on science fiction, this early‑80s film defies genre conventions. It mixes alien abductions, suicide pacts and the lure of superstardom while probing sci‑fi’s own reality. Its kinetic style and surreal humor heighten the bright, chaotic, unmistakably out‑of‑this‑world tone, making it one of the most unusual Hong‑Kong entries of the era.
