Jane McCoy, a recent college graduate, abandons her parents’ hopes for law school to pursue acting full‑time. To make ends meet she follows a persuasive friend into go‑go dancing, a job that seems like easy cash. The work soon dominates her life, pulling her away from acting classes, her boyfriend, family, and the person she once was, as she wrestles with the cost of fame and the loss of her original dreams.
