While diving off the coast of Montpellier, a diver discovers a valuable golden statuette of Medusa. Shortly after, his boat is found abandoned at sea, sparking a perplexing mystery. Police Captain Guillaume Le Guen and his brother, Gendarmerie Captain Damien Le Guen, must investigate the diver’s disappearance. The case is complicated by the fact that the missing man is Guillaume’s son-in-law, and his daughter is expecting a grandchild, leading them to suspect either a curse linked to the Medusa statuette or the involvement of a competing treasure hunter.
