Mike Spillone, a fake detective, is hired by sisters to see if Brigitte, wife of Otello Bellomo, is having an affair. Unaware she is a physician, they send Spillone and his aide Johnny to investigate. They find her with patient Marquis De Vitti, who was shot by a husband, and later Spillone sees Brigitte with her husband, thinking he is her lover.
