Four years after being left at the altar, Risa Onodera finds herself engaged again. Her parents, Shusaku and Machiko, had built a large house with the hope of living with Risa and her future family. However, her new suitor, Kotaro, is a surprising figure – his former subordinate and now his boss. Shusaku is conflicted about his daughter’s marriage, unsure if he can accept living with his boss. As Risa and Kotaro navigate their relationship, the film explores whether they can truly become a family and what lies at the heart of their love.
