SOUNDSTAGE captures Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers delivering a vibrant live set that includes many of their biggest hits. Filmed for a PBS special in Chicago, the concert leans into blues and R&B roots that shape rock ’n’ roll and Petty’s sound. Across two DVDs, the show balances familiar chart‑toppers with extensive covers, making the latter as engaging—if not more so—than the few originals performed.
