Only about 300 Siberian tigers remain in the wild, limited to a strip of far‑eastern Russia. Researchers risk lives to track, sedate, measure and collar the cats, studying movements. A Russian scientist raises two orphaned cubs, moving them from a cage to a pen, contrasting poachers who kill tigers for pelts and body parts sold in Chinese medicine.
