Victor Grach and Leonid Osadchy are dangerous criminals. Victor sees himself as strong and independent and wants his younger brother Shurka to visit him. Leonid, obeying Victor, is pulled into serious crimes and ends up on trial. The judge delays sentencing to determine each brother’s culpability and discover how ordinary men became robbers and killers.
