A grieving mother, who had previously sold a photograph of her young daughter to the press for publicity, is confronted with the daughter's sudden death. Overwhelmed, she wanders a town saturated with portraits of her child, haunted by the relentless reminder of her loss and the media's intrusion into her private sorrow.
