In 1922, a Swiss weather observer and his wife live isolated in a high‑altitude Alpine cabin. An Austrian meteorologist arrives, having coveted the post and secretly desiring the wife. His charm gains the couple’s hospitality, but tension builds, and the rivalry between the two men spirals into tragedy.
