A lonely and irreverent 30-year-old Type 1 diabetic named Alek returns to his hometown hoping to recapture the excitement of his teenage years. Finding most of his friends gone or settled, he reconnects with Matt, an old acquaintance who embodies everything Alek dislikes about suburban life. Together, they embark on a chaotic and increasingly erratic night, blurring the lines between reality and hallucination as Alek’s blood sugar levels fluctuate dangerously. Their adventure takes them down a dark path, revealing Alek’s disregard for both Matt’s and his own well-being.
