In the distant past the Comanche sealed an evil by placing a protective spear and a rabbit foot talisman in the ground. When a boy pulls the spear and pockets the talisman, the protective seal weakens and the evil is set free. The ritual is interrupted and soon white men arrive to drill for oil, bringing new dangers in its wake.
