Tiny fifteen‑centimeter‑high humans called the Borrowers live in the English countryside, making homes in mouse‑hole sized nooks within ordinary houses and surviving by “borrowing” items from the occupants. The series follows Arriety, her parents Pod and Homily, who are forced to leave their home and, with help from a human boy named George, seek a new safe place.
