After the notorious Two‑Gun Man, Jim Stokes, robs a stagecoach, he is wounded while fleeing the scene. He recuperates at a remote ranch, where he falls for the daughter of a local settler. Determined to abandon his outlaw ways, Stokes soon draws the attention of a sheriff—who, though not incorruptible, learns of his whereabouts and brings new danger.
